    Default High idle revs

    Hi again. This time I need help with 1000 revs at idle, as before it was 850. Please help!

    Sounds like you're in limp mode mate. You don't necessarily see the spanner light. You'll need the codes read via a computer or try the pedal test trick.

    OK then. As far as i know thats the only reason for a steady 1k revs at idle.

    I had to re solder few wires as they were snapped but after that car ran brilliant. I was albe to clear all faults and none come up again.

    Check your alternator if its not producing enough voltage ECU will up the rpm to compensate
