    Default Retrofit rear electric windows

    Hi all i was wondering if anybody could shed some light on my situation i have a 2004 edition 100 and wanting to retrofit rear electric windows so i read up got my info ready ordered a full kit and took the car to a local guy with tech 2 told him ddm, rec and bcm need rear windows activating left the car job done the kit has came so thaught while its icy i will test fit it plugged rear door looms in connected switches and motors and also drivers door switch pack, now heres my problem rear switches illuminate i thaught great pressed buttons up and down motors worked spot on got to front switch pack pressed child lockout that kills the power then i switched to rear and it still operates the fronts?? Im confused the system works ok other than the drivers switches dont operate rears?? Ive tested microswitch inside the switchpack and thats ok any ideas peeps its driving me mad

    Im thinking the same just cant understand if the lockout switch works surly the ddm knows it now has rear electric windows??

    So to all who have done this mod or peeps who actually use tech 2 if you can just tell me what needs updating on the ddm so i can forward it on to the lad

    this is the instructions i took to my local vx, they done it word for word, worked perfectly and only cost Ģ15

    Turn on TECH2,
    Select Enter on bootup screen
    Select F0 Diagnostics <ENTER>
    Select Year <ENTER>
    Select Vectra C/ Signum <ENTER>

    At main screen scroll down to Body
    Select F4 BODY <ENTER>
    Scroll down to BCM (Body Control Module) <ENTER>
    Hit Confirm when prompted
    <Read Part Number> and then hit Confirm
    Select F3 Programming <ENTER>
    Select F3 Program Variant Configuaration <ENTER>
    Enter Security Pin Code when prompted to do so then press ENTER
    Select OKAY to confirm pin code
    Set Quiescent current to 'ACTIVE'
    At the next screen scroll down to REAR POWER LIFTER then hit MODIFY
    Select PRESENT
    select CONFIRM
    Then select PROGRAM from the main screen
    on PROGRAMMING SUCCESSFUL select CONFIRM

    Hit EXIT and then EXIT again back to the main body menu. This time scroll down to REC (Rear Electrical Centre) and then select ENTER
    <CONFIRM> ignition on status
    Select F3 Program Variant Configuration
    Enter Pincode when prompted and then hit ENTER
    Select OKAY to confirm pin code
    Scroll Down to REAR WINDOW POWERLIFTER
    Select MODIFY and then Select PRESENT and next Select CONFIRM.

    Scroll down to DDM <enter>
    Read part number
    Hit CONFIRM
    F1 Programming <enter>
    F3 Program Variant Config <enter>
    Display will say Engine Off Igntion On!!
    Hit confirm
    Enter 4 digit pin code <enter>
    scroll to DD Window Lifter Select - Not Present
    Select MODIFY
    Select PRESENT
    SELECT Confirm

    Scroll down to Comfort Opening - Present
    Hit modify
    Select Not Present
    Then select program

    If display says PROGRAMMING SUCESSFUL then EXIT TECH2



    TURN BACK ON TECH2

    Select F0 Diagnostics <enter>

    enter vehicle year
    enter vehicle type

    Select F4 Body <enter>

    Scroll down to DDM <enter>
    Read Part number on display
    Hit CONFIRM

    F1 Programming <enter>
    F3 Variant Config <enter>

    Display will say Engine Off Ignition On!!
    Hit CONFIRM

    Enter 4 digit code
    Scroll down to Comfort Opening - Not Present
    Select MODIFY
    Select PRESENT <confirm>
    Hit PROGRAM

    when is says PROGRAMMING SUCESSFULL then EXIT TECH2 Session

    Back at the variant configuration screen hit PROGRAM. On PROGRAMMING SUCCESSFULL select CONFIRM.

    Then EXIT and EXIT again to exit the TECH2



    NOTE: to note the mirror synch (both mirrors moving at once or individual) is also there too. So if you want it changing now would be a good time!.
