Default Looking at buying a Signum 150 or 120?

    Hi all

we have just had a baby and space in the astra is limited when the pram is in, yes we have the back seat but if anyone is with us and we buy anything is cramped lol,

so i have been looking as either a Signum 1.9 150 or 120ps, personally i prefer the signum but id be happy with either?

i just wondered what other peoples view on the both are and if there was anything i need to look out for? i know the Clutch can be a problem and to look for one that just had a new one recently.

plus we only have my car in part ex and arround £500 ontop

thank you any help would be great

    si

I'd go for a vectra as it has more space, I'd also go for a 150 as its faster.

I bought my Signum cdti 120 in November, I agree with XPCobra the boot is bigger in the Vectra, but drop the seats down in the Signum and its huge, probably the best car I've owned, better than a 406 executive and a 3 Series BM. I've also got a Frontera, great with this snow. but I'd rather drive my Signum

3.0 v6 cdti's are good engines, but very expensive to fix

That is very nice and all was well and good until I've found out its £250 a year tax. At the moment that's not doable! Back to the 1.9 lol

I would buy a smaller pram! You have a very nice motor and know the faults, you could end up buying a money pit?

dude i tried! im using the baby as an excuse to buy another car lol i know what your saying and its worrying me that might happen, its a big decision for us as we dont have alot of money and if i didnt choose right and it kept failing, (allthough i am quite handy with cars, i cant do clutches, i could probably help my mechanic friend to get it done cheaper)
