rolleyes New boot lid required - how easy is it to change?

Hey everyone I'm in need of a new boot lid for my 08 vectra C
I've found one local on eBay... Was just wondering how easy it is to change, and what do I need to do in order to make sure my new boot with lock and unlock as it should?

Vehicle : Mk1 renault scenic... I know I know but it drives

    Engine : 1.6 16v

Not done a vectra one. But if its similar to corsa then.

Need to undo all the electrics remove wiper motor, boot lock etc.

then you'll need a second person to hold boot while you undo the gas struts. And then remove the pins from the hinges.
lift away and fit new boot lid.

when I fit the locks to anything I usually operate the mechanism with a screwdriver to make sure it will operate before closing.

have you had rear end damage?

    is boot floor etc ok?

I've not had any rear damage, I had a spoiler fitted and somebody has stolen it and made a mess of the boot and rear window, so it is cheaper for me to buy a new boot £40 than it is to repair the damage
everything except for the boot itself is all good

It's only 4 bolts and an electrical plug.

as I say just operate it with screwdriver and it should all be fine.
