Default Fault codes P1109 and P1110, emission light on

Zafira 1.9 cdti Z19dth engine. Have fault codes P1109 and P1110, emission light on. Started week after manifold replacement (yes, in one year second manifold for the car).
Symptoms: New actuator tries to move swirl flaps, but some times stucks in a half way. Restart car works fine, then new restart, and stucks again, restart works fine and then after wile stucks. Also sometimes it moves like couple mm to one and other way, and so on, wile restart a car. The actuator does the same when disconnected from flaps. Sometimes it even do not moves.
Jobs done so far: Changed back to old actuator, still the same problem, checked wires and connection.

Any advice? What I could miss?

Perhaps somebody will come along with a better idea, but try disconnecting the bar from the actuator (so actuator has no load on it). Engine will run fine without control of the swirl flaps. See if the fault code goes away after driving for a while.

If it does, then suspect sticking mechanism (though not sure why on a new manifold!). If the code persists then perhaps there is a weak/intermittent electrical connection to the actuator.

Today had a little bit more exploring. Opcom test for actuator looks like this (tha same for both actuators new and old)
    Test 1 http://youtu.be/ub4dM2vCzlY
    Test 2 http://youtu.be/o3EM3c9JIiM

the readings from opcom test is: 1) 5 and 95, or
    2) 5, 10, 5, 10 etc. Even when test is not active the readings are like this.

Also the EML light comes up when driving, but no fault codes saved. When EML light on and scan for faults it gives P1109 0r P1110 or both. As soon EML light dissapears (by it self) there is no fault codes stored on ECU

The EML light comes up also when engine is on,and no acceleration or any other movement at all. Also disappears by it self.

    Anu Ideas?

Also the same readings and lights is with actuator disconnected from flaps

please be aware that doing an actuator test can only be done a certain amount of times before it damages the motor, think its 4 or 5 times according to TIS/Tech2

ok, but why brand new actuator did the same ( no tests done before), started in 200 miles after a change

cant tell you why, but i suspect the same as what already been said, something iffy with your new manifold.. disconnect the bar from underneath and see if u move it manuall whether it feels like its sticking

Sorry - but to be clear - did you install a new actuator when the inlet was fitted?

Installed new actuator. The problem started after a week of changing both of them. Made approx 200 miles.
After fault codes, garage decided the new actuator is faulty. To check that put a old back, and the same problem.

    Code:
    P1109 IAT - B Sensor Intermittent
    P1110 IAT Sensor (D/C) Open/Short
    IAT = air intake temp.

I don't know if you already knew that or even if that helps you any.
