    Should only be the same as their capacitors and ballast resistors to up the voltage.

    short runs is your answer.

    think of your battery as I'd its a bank account it takes a lot of cash to start it. If you keep taking and not putting any back you soon run out of cash

    A quick trip to Halfords will get you a free battery check.

    and because they sell bosch battery's they use a bosch battery tester.
    which are some of the best in the market. If that thing gives a print out saying you need a new battery. You need a new batt.

    The hids have a wattage 35 w or 50/55w, if its the original battery and short journeys as said thats ure answer I would dich it and get a s5 Bosch battery, but there alot cheaper from eBay but if u go into halfords and see what one u need so you know what u are looking for on eBay :-)

    You can calculate the current draw using this simple equation

    Power = Volts X Amps

    Hence we know the draw on the lights as they are statd to be 35 watt and it is a 12volt suply (although it does increase to 14 volts with the enine running)

    Re-arrange the equation

    Amps = Power/Volts, so in this case 35 watts divided by 12 volts in under 2.92 amps per side.

    55 watt halogens would draw 55/12 = 4.58 amps per side.

    You can use this equation when calculating the wire size you need to use for accessories. But you always need to have a safety margin and I would add 25%.
