Vectra (B?) 51reg 2.2 DTR engine into 53reg Signum

Hi all,
As title states, is it same engine? VP44 PSG16?
I will have log book from donor car, so can get pump codes from local dealer. But just to confirm is it the same engine?
Signum was Y22DTR.

No, the Vec B used a different fuel pump (or at least different ECU). There may be some other slight changes too. It MAY be possible to fit your fuel pump and injectors to the Vec B engine but I'm not sure if that'll work.

the inlet manifold is different but you can change over parts from yours as they have the same block and head and as said above the pumps are different

That Vectra B engine is Y22DTR, is it still different pump? no luck then... Old engine have dead pump, just won't fire up. There is 130K on that engine, so been advised that swapping engine and reprogramming pump would be just easier then.
