Default Help, I'm being a biff!

Can some one tell me what the plastic panel under the engine bay is called?

When I had the gearbox done under warranty they lost the part that comes out on the drivers side to the wheel arch. It was that much hassle getting it sorted in the first place and now about 4 months since it was done I'm just going to order the part from Vauxhall.

Obviously if anyone knows the part number for it that would be good too.

    Alex

    Have a look on here:

    http://ecat24.com/opel/catalog/part/...6,40427,40425/

Not sure what model yours is, this was for my SRi with the Z18XER engine. You should hopefully be able to find your parts on there if it's different model though.

(Found this is in the section VECTRA-C / BODY SHELL AND PANELS / UNDERBODY)

    Hope that helps.

I think that's a protection plate rather than the undertray.

    This is the undertray http://ecat24.com/opel/catalog/part/...19/3972/40531/

As far as I know it's only fitted to diesel engined cars. Vauxhall call it an 'engine insulator'.

    Think you are probably right.

I only checked against the petrol Z18XER like mine, as I wasn't sure what engine the OP had.
