    Default Re-map question 150 CDTi

Right, just took my car to a garage who also do re-maps (they are checking out the starting problem I have).
The guy said if I was interested in re-mapping the engine for £270 quid so that the engine runs at 217 BHP!

That's quite a bit of power! The power doesnt really interest me to be fair, but the fact you can gain more MPG does.

Is it possible to re-map the ECU so that the BHP stays the same but the engine runs more efficiently?

    Cheers

Simply stay away from anywhere that shouts they can screw 217bhp from a 150 CDTi whilst keeping it safe on a standard turbo.

Yes, perfectly possible. Any reputable company should be able to sort that for you.
