    Vehicle : Vectra Estate

    Trim : SRI

    Engine : CDTI 150 (Z19 DTH)

    Year : 2008

    Mileage : 100k

Default This afternoons work on a Z19DTH

I was recommended (which was nice) to a guy with Saab 9-3 1.9 Tid (Z19DTH) Sport 150 - so the guy bought it over this afternoon for an inspection.

After a full inspection and a trip to my local Vauxhall dealer I ended up doing the following:

    Thermostat
    Full Service incl all filters
Cam Belt Kit and water pump
    Coolant flush
    EGR Clean
    Boost/MAP sensor clean
    Brake fluid change
    Drop links
    ....and two new exhaust hangers.

    Am knackered now!!

    LOL

Good stuff, I usually chop logs in the cold weather, often end up too hot

Yes - all four wheels off the ground. Started with just fronts on the stands and drained the oil. Then rear off the ground on two more stands and all 4 road wheels off, much easier when using the eezibleed for a brake fluid change to have all 4 corners available .

My high lift trolly jack (and wood block) was then incharge of supporting the sump whilst I did the belt etc.
