My Mate has a vec estate and his rear passenger and front passenger footwell are drenched. Checked the scuttle it's bone dry so I lifted off the blank where the sunglasses holder is and the whole inside of the roof was dripping wet. The lining wasn't wet so we took it all out and dried the roof now mad set at sealing the Arial and took the roof rails off sealed the holes for the bolts and around the bolts aswel as the pivets where sealed up with silicon. Now a week later his car still steaming up badly and windows get water in the inside still so I took the blank off again and the roof is wet again just like before the floors are still wet we didn't get to dry them. Any ideas

That's what we thought n that's why we put silicone all around the bolts and under the rails inside the car so water can't get in

Check your own roof, it will be wet on the inside too.. The water is getting in else where, isn't the rear quarter window seals a problem some times?

They haven't used factory washers fitting roof rails to an estate more likely that's the problem
