How much would a new 2 button flip key cost including getting it cut and programmed to the car?

Mine was a cool £50, however this was also as part of a warranty claim so may not reflect the true cost!

I bought my vectra with only 1 key, recently through Vauxhall I bought a new key ( I had key pass, so it's cheaper ), had it programmed to my car, resync'd old key and deleted any other keys to car for around £110 quid all done.

Key was £67 quid. Charged me £40 labour.

If you don't have car pass it's more ££.

Also know lads in there so get discount on parts.
Work at Bentley so get trade.

My dealer was looking £150 + Vat and that's just for a normal 3 button fob. My key doesn't have a transponder chip, well actually it does but it is part of the pcb board and I'm trying to find out if I can get a compatible transponder chip and fob to program myself. Problem is I don't know what kind of chip to get. There's loads of already used key fobs but it's my understanding that these can't be re-programmed once they have been programmed to another car. My search continues

Got one of these keys Here so will have a go at programming it, already have a horse shoe key part cut and ready to go. I only have one key and 5 in total were programmed so I erased all keys and just programmed the one I have back in so now I have room for the new one when it arrives, hopefully be here tomorrow
