    confused Does power steering fluid expire?!

    Hi all




    I've just been to the Vx dealer and bought a bottle of 93160548 PAS fluid for my '06 vvt, the bottle has a date stamped on the top '01/2013' - is this an expiry date?!

    Maybe , date of manufacture .

    It could be a shelf life rather than an expiry date.

    Oil is several billion years old i think your bottle will be fine.

    I did think the question would be whats in your resovoir will that expire. It can trap moisture.
