The wife phones me this morning to say that there is light flashing on and off in the dashboard display. She didnt know what it was and couldnt describe it to me but when she got back said it went off after about 10 minutes. Anyway after looking through the manual i found out it was the coolant low light. Am I right in thinking its low but when engine started to warm it pressurises and raises the level above the sensor?
Also it has the red coolant in the car is that only available from vauxhall or can i get it from my local motor factor.

Correct - at cold the level will be at its lowest

Available from most motor factors, just top it up and keep a eye on it.
