    Default Rear Difuser.....What d'we think?

    I was shown this idea today when I was looking into a remap....

    It's a whole rear undertray and diffuser similar to the Renault Clio Sport 197. This hasn't been produced yet but is on the horizon. I only saw an artists sketch and based on that, I have done these:

    yeah looks gud but your better off fitting the vxr 1 and forget it
    going all over the spare wheel section as the vxr 1 will only cost you
    around 25 quid.

    Bainie,

    This is a crude model but Hopefull it gets the idea across. I believe it woul sit flush with the SRI bumper and look more like a single unit rather than a bumper and insert.



    They quoted a clio as a similar example:




    Imagine this colour coded to match the bodywork...

    Get you now, a more aggresive looking version of the vxr one, looks ok, proabably look better with quad pipes ..

    I’m looking at making a custom rear diffuser and that silver vec with them fins is in the right area has anyone ever made one like that but more rounded fins not square edges

    Yep....they made the BTCC one which was far bigger than the standard vxr one.
    Bigger find and it went right under to the spare wheel well.

    There's a few members on here have them fitted.
