    Default Number plate lights

Today noticed that one of the number plate lights has gone out on the Signum, wanted to put leds in anyway, but the screw heads had rusted and can't shift them. Question is can you get to change the bulbs by removing the tailgate lining?

I'm guessing not, most panels have some form of double skin so I reckon you can't get your hand in, but might be worth checking...

No you don't but it does mean dismantling the tailgate lining to get to it. Takes about an hour and you can then access the sharp end of the screw which you can then turn with pliers to give you enough purchase to then turn the screw head with pliers too. The bar with the lights in comes away sperately from the tailgate.
