    Default Turbo fail.

Well christmas day the turbo on my car decided to go an what a pain in the rear it has been. I have the Z20NET engine finding a 2nd turbo didnt seem possible so i got mine refurbed which cost £360 from the turbo guy in glasgow. Good work done turbo looks brand new but the oil feed banjo bolt is missing and trying to get a replacement has become an absolute nightmare. I am now waiting on vauxhall to get back to me for one.

One thing i would say is before you go for a refurb get a price for a new one from vauxhall. I paid £360 to refurb my old turbo but i could have baught a brand new replacement from Vauxhall for £421. Parts guy was saying to me he just sold Dual mass clutch kit for £200 original part an thats its price for a 1.9 cdti i think he said! Might have been the 2.2dti. For a similer kit on ebay not oem part £350 and some places advertising 2nd hand for the price of a brand new genuine part!

End result my car is still not running as need the silly banjo bolt for oil feed on topside of turbo, if anyone knows what size and pitch this is let me know please. I could maybe get a similer one that will fit if i kbew whatit was. For example M10x1.25. Thanks

Bring turbo with u, get right bolt etc, or complain to refurb people that you paid all this money only to find they lost or kept the viable part needed for it to function. Either they return that part to you or return the turbo for full refund and get new from vx!

I do not know but i might, i mean i might, be able to help if the fitting is similar to z19dth turbo bolt fitting for oil feed.

Could you take picture of the fitting and the bolt hole then tape measure across hole so i can see if i can find this part and measure to see if its the same. Only cost to you is price of postage stamp :-) dont get ur hopes up tho as i doubt it'll be easy to find.

Thanks for the help guys, Been searching everywhere, usual response is nope not got anything like that or they would have sold it with turbo. Now the vauxhall dealership is in touch with Vauxhall about it as no one seems to know the part number. I cant believe for one simple bolt, the grief it has caused.
