Well i hit a brick in the road and it has put the trackig out but most garages dont have the correct settings to do it. So i just wondered what the settings are so i can tell them? I have had it done twice but they cant get the steering wheel centre

errm.. i'd try going somewhere else then mate...the 1st thing you do when tracking a vehicle is to set the steering wheel and clamp it off.. then adjust underneath..

Try somewhere with a laser system as the settings are the same for all the vectra hatch's with sports suspension..and they will be stored on the database of the computer..

Yep.. should do.. and if the steering wheel is out of alignment but it runs straight then thats not the fault of the tracking, it's poor alignment of the wheel to start with..if the wheel has to be held as it's running off left or right then thats poor tracking..

Next time you get the tracking done, watch how they do it, and look at all the readings

The front might be something like...
    -6 on the nearside
    +3 on the offside

This gives you -3 degrees, so it needs to have 3 degrees added to the nearside

Now looking at the rear it might be...
    +4 on the nearside
    +2 on the offside

Sadly, there isn't much you can do about that
This is usually caused by several factors like the amount of fuel in the tank and the tyre pressures

    So before you go...
    Remove EVERYTHING from the car
Set the tank to about 1/2 full
Check all the tyre pressures are correct (cold setting)
