Default Help removing washer from aerial please

I am taking off aerial as ordered a new one picking up tomorrow. Old aerial is unscrewed but how do you remove the pipe from rear washer? Does new one come with the little jet hole. Don't want to start forcing and possibly breaking anything. Help appreciated

Pull and twist the washer jet out of the pipe. It helps if the rubber is warm as this softens it. So at this time of year you might want to see if you can warm it up a bit by sitting it in some hot water for a bit.

No need to reply. I was cold and wet and rain running thru holes in roof so pulled it off which would appear was what was required.

Your new aerial wont come with the washer jet, so you need to price the old one out your old aerial. Best to push your washer pipe through hole on your new aerial then attach the washer nozzle then push it back onto the aerial body.

Replaced my aerial last week too.

There are two types of aerial bases for the Vectra hatchback.
The standard one that's just for the radio, item 6 from link below
The other is for radio, satnav, factory fitted telephone, item 7 from link below

Have separated washer jet, taped pipe onto inside of roof and now already to fit new aerial. Only problem I can see now is the price.

Well you can't get away from the HIGH Vx price for this part, BUT a Masterfit Service Club Membership Card will at least see you getting a 25% discount fella !
