    Default exeon or HID

as the title says in in two minds on this, not loaded with money right now but i need a better light option.
iv had hids before but the passaenger light ballest kept blowing, strange.....

how much would i be looking at roughly for a set of exeons or can some one point me in the right direction for hids.

prices on both would be great. im only looking at 4300 or 5000 max as i need more light if going for hids.

if you've already got most of the parts and are just in need of ballasts then i would recommend just buying new ballasts off ebay. should be about a tenner.

As I've never heard of 'exeons' and nothing comes up for that on Google, I can only assume you mean 'Xenons'. If you do, then other than xenon filled incandescent headlamp bulbs, which are alledgely brighter and whiter than standard halogen filled ones, you might just find that xenon lights and HID lights are the same thing.
Xenon lighting is the more common manufacturer term for HID (High Intensity Discharge) lighting.

Changing to full original HIDs I believe is a costly job. A decent aftermarket HID kit however is going to be around the £50-80 mark depending on your choice of a 35w or 55w system and lamp temperature (4300k is considered 'daylight' but 6000k is quite common).

There really does need to be a definative HID thread or How2, including the best ones for the money.
There are so many on ebay, plus they all seem to say similar, but different, things about Canbus cars.
