Default girl needin advice - 286 bulbs needing changed in my prefacelift vectra angel eyes. whcich ones?

ive recently got angel eyes for my xmas but the halos are yellow. im wanting the crisp white look as planning some 6000k HIDS too. dont want white and yellow. problem is i dont know which ones to buy as im already getting bulb warnings for a pair of cheap H7s i got from ebay which are in my dipped beam.

my mot is in may and want my angel eyes in asap but can anyone tell me which 286 bulbs to buy? im assuming they need to be canbus bulbs and resistors? dont want my mot failing because of bulb warnings.
obviuosly hids wont be in for mot as will be auto fail.

also how to fit them as the holes in the back of the angel eyes are so narrow. even i cant get my fingers in.

    any advice greatly appreciated

Ure car will pas a mot fine with hids mines has for the past 3 years, other cars have them as standard and pass, as long as the beam is ok which it will be as they are projectors it will be fine.

Get the 50w vanbus safe ones metal base from hids-direct this is what I have, and the 4.3ks are best 5 and 6k are too blue.

i beilve they do, resistors wont stop the strobing, you need relays on the circut to stop it strobing as the relays need more power that the bulbs to work if that makes sense.

The ones I and a lot of other people now use are these (286 triple head white LEDs)...

They will still strobe, there is no way of stopping that currently as that's the bulb check system, the answer is to drive with your side lights on all the time. You will however need to fit a load resistor in each head light on that circuit to prevent the bulb out warnings. These are what you need...

Oh and this is what they look like once fitted...

the LEDs? exactly the same as the preface, except from what @Ian-Highlander said when he did mine, the facelift is much more fiddly than the preface
