    Default Body Wiring

i have got some heated leather GSI seats, but don't have the wiring for them, can i use the wiring from the pre-face GSI to heat them or does it have to be from a facelift. to do with the half-can to full-can issue.

    All help appreciated ?

yes, u can unpick the wiring from the preface as the heated wiring stays the same, what you cant do (easily) is to change the entire bodyloom without issues

My Gsi half leathers have come with a heated drivers seat and I have no loom either so its definitely a job im looking at for the spring. Hodge UPullit at Inverkeithing is the best place to get a loom as their cars are all easy to access and they are dirt cheap too. Plasma does the loom plug into the BCM?

it be far quicker if you just add the wiring rather than strip the whole interior as
the body harness also goes through to the engine bay and its so time consuming for all that
trim n everything to be stripped and re fitted.

you cud have the add on harness fitted n working within about a few hrs

If you have the loom its easy enough to unpick and the connections are to the drivers and passenger footwell plugs X1 and X2 (Wiring to switches etc is normally in to the other side of the X plugs) and the rear electrical centre.
