    Question 2.2 dti aux belt

My aux belt is starting to squeal on startup on my 2.2 dti vec C.

Does anyone know if it's adjustable or do I need a new belt and tensioner or just belt?

You need to change the belt and tensioner. I changed my own on my previous 2.2DTI Signum, I paid around the 40 quid mark for the pair. The tensioner has a hydrailic cylinder and is not adjustable. I bought mine from the bay of e.

It's self adjusting but not by much. Put new belt on mine the other day and it was so tight to put on it's untrue as there is so little movement in the cylinder. My belt was squealing worse when cold and damp morning. Now 100% perfect.
