Petrol & Diesel queues

It's chaos out there!!!

The queues for fuel are horrific in Birmingham, many stations are out of fuel already. Some who have fuel have already upped the price as well.

Did not think it would start this early. Everyones trying to fill up before Wed.

i may fill up with diesel tonight. Should last a few weeks

although, reading my 'metro' paper this morning the protestors, or 'the fuel lobby' as they are offically known have said they wont be restricting supplies to petrol stations like they did last time. So theres no need to panic buy.

Well im glad i filled up yesterday

Me too mate!! I needed to fill up anyway so popped out early evening. No queues or anything. Then a I saw a newspaper headline about it in the garage and was glad I had filled up then!!

Fortunately I don't need to be doing much driving this week so my tankful will keep we going well into next week!

I've just filled up at a local garage near my work in Bradford. Two thirds of the Diesel pumps were out of use and all the pumps were well busy.

Cheapest 5ltr petrol/diesel cans.....

£2.27 for green £2.28 for silver in Tescos.

Just filled up the tank, should get 500 miles accounting for air con and silly driving. Am clearing off on holiday at the end of the week anyway so not too concearned. My local garage is out of unleaded and said diesel was on the way out too......

I'm off next week as well, trouble is I'm driving to Devon. I filled up the weekend. Im Showing a range of 630 miles which will improve if I do motorway miles & restrain my right "hammer" foot. I'm hoping I can manage from now till then & come back on the same tank.

If its still on when I get back I'll be stuck then, but at least I'll be home.

Tell me about it. I got called out to a Lady who had filled here petrol 4x4 up with diesel. Today all days. Imagine what it was like tring to get the truck onto the petrol forcourt to rescue it!!! Then to find the winch wouldn't work.

Filled the signum up today at Tesco Wrexham, massive queues but for some reason people were only using the pumps on the flap side of their car so only had to wait a mo for a pump on the wrong side then strectched the hose over to the fuel flap.
Only trouble is we are going up to Berwick upon Tweed a week today for a hol with the kids!!!
