one of the best things i can think of with virgin, is there back up service.....if it breaks virgin are pretty much out right away.....and the best bit.....foc......

i am with sky, have been for years and no plans to change but the free servicing from virgin could sway me if my sky box breaks tbh.

the main thing i dont like with virgin is the delay when you press a button, its only short but its long enough to make you think it hasnt worked so you press it again.

annoys the hell out of me when forced to use virgin at friend's house etc.

my girlfriend has virgin, whilst i have sky, some aspects of virgin interest me, the tivo box has a lot more memory then the sky hd box for example but the virgin box dosnt seem to be as easy to use as the sky one, also virgin will fix problems with there equipment where tight butt sky wont!! they charge!! also virgin seem to not get all the channels that sky do unless thats just a package thing..
what is the problem your having with sky bud?

We've been with SKY for 12 years now but we're considering changing to get Virgins fiber optic broadband and also when we get bad storms we won't loose signal (like you do with satellite dish) lol

i have made a point of never having Sky

The package I have from Virgin is:
    30mb broadband with superhub
    24/7 calls
    Telephone line
TV basic pack which includes FREE HD channels

    £30 per month

plus I have 4 mobiles with virginmobile which saves me a fortune as I get a better deal because I am a virginmedia customer
