New exhaust,thoughts and advice sought

Well I'm going to get the vectras exhaust changed at some point soon( v6turbo) and I popped down to guy I've used before for price and I'm more or less going with the hidden tailpipes option as that's what's on the car just now and let's face it everyone goes for twin pipes that are visible, my cars elite model so I'd need to source and paint an Sri spec bumper to allow this so I'm going for clean look with no obvious tailpipes, the guy said I'd be better going for a single outlet on one side as opposed to twin outlets,doesn't really matter as they won't be seen anyway,he reckons a single bigger bore pipe is better for power etc than a twin outlet system as they cause too much back pressure or something,a,can anyone shed any light on this ? Is he right or are twin outlets better,after all that's what's on the car just now

280 quid mate cat back. Not too bad IMO

He hasn't changed his prices much tbh buddy, I was £300+ about 5yrs ago for my cat back system. THe turbo creates the back pressure on the car, so the more free flowing the better...be it single of duplex outlet.?

Mij charge about that for a twin and they will cut the bumper out for you

What's the point? If your after sound get a k&n cone filter.

Err no,it will draw hot air from engine and I'm happy with my modded standard air box set up,am looking for a nice throaty rasp that only a decent exhaust system can supply

i like twin exhausts but they are all about the looks, if its to be hidden anyway it doesnt matter what it looks like surely.

if he is an exhaust expert we have to assume he knows what he is talking about so i would follow his advice.
