    Default Fuel filter problem

Popped underneath the car today to change the fuel filter (z18xer) and noticed the clip towards the back of the car is broke (the bit on the end of the hose) checked to see if it was leaking but it seems fine, is there anyway i could get the filter off without breaking it further ?

If it comes to it then get the earlier vauxhall fuel filter.. Mahle number is KL14.. same size filter etc.

Get short pieces of fuel pipe to go over the hose on the car that the now connector is on and secure with jubilee clip, then just push onto the filter and use jubilee clips again

Only a thought and maybe a cheaper option?

Well the car is going much better now, chopped off the connector on the fuel pipe and found some fuel pipe in the shed cut to length got it all tightened up and all is working well, no leaks and the car feels more responsive now and smoother
