New car - a few questions

Hi all,

Just changes my 04 Sri for an 07 3.0cdti V6 Auto Elite.

Question 1 - the BC will only show 'Range' and 'Instant consumption'. How do you change it to 'Average consumption'? I can only get the trip details up and then not on the main screen.

Question 2 - My new car has a very handy built in car kit - very handy in 2007!! It sits where the cup holders are normally. Does any one know if I can just unplug it? It is wired into the main screen and steering wheel controls so I don't want to cause any other problems!

Also - anyone know where I can get the cup holder module from (except VX - don't want to take out another mortgage!!)

I asked exactly the same 2 questions when I picked up my car and:

1) You can't change it, the instant and range is all you get, unless you go into the BC menu
2) Pull it out, unplug it and fit the standard cupholder (which is about as much use as nipples on a fish because its really shallow but good for keeping change in)

None of the fish that I've seen have nipples, but it would be ignorant of me to say that none of them do when there's thousands of species of fish that I haven't seen... I know for certain that cod, haddock, goldfish, minnows and trout don't.

I've never seen anyone trying to milk anything other than a dairy cow, oh and my children when they were babies... i can feel an unusual google entry coming on... just remind me to delete the history, I don't think I could explain something like that to the wife and I doubt she knows much about species of fish with nipples so she won't need to know.

Sorry to hijack, but URGENT NEWS... fish definitely don't have nipples.. the images showed up a lot of disturbing hentai fish porn but on further investigation, nipples are exclusive to mammals.
