Been reading up about people adding 2 stroke oil when they fill up. 200 ml . Apparently makes the engine run a lot smoother ,less smoke and slightly better mpg ? Has anybody here done this before. I'm willing to give it a go. Can't do no harm surely

Just been reading more. It's been proven that it does nothing but good for your diesel engine. Add 300 ml to a full tank. Benefits are supposedly better throttle response. Less smoke. Quieter engine. Better mpg. Helps with dpf too as the fuel is burned more efficiently reducing soot particles. Keeps everything lubricated as that's what sulpher used to do bit it's been dramatically reduced to keep thegreen heads happy

300ml of low-ash two-stroke in a full tank of diesel. You'll be amazed at the difference after as little as 100 miles

Done it regularly on my old 2.2 DTi with great results. Quiet, smooth, less smoke, better MPG.

Started doing it on my current CDTi two tankful's ago, and again, good all round. Will continue to use it

Seems interesting might try this on my next long run.
Any idea how long the affects last once you've gone through the tank or is it with every tank?

I found that the effects last maybe two-three tankfuls after you stop using it.

I used it every other fillup on my last car, and it had positive results.

The first two tanks I added 300ml to a full tank of diesel, then 300ml every second fill-up (full tank).
