    Default since i have had my engine fitted

    since i have had another engine fitted i can't get my code reader to work ? . they only fitted the engine didnt change anything else ( my injectors and fuel pump ecu etc ) . does anyone have any ideas what would cause this . my engine is the 2.0 dti y20dth

    and could anyone tell me where the obd2 CONNECTOR GOES . I KNOW IT UNDER THE ASHTRAY BUT SOME ONE TOLD ME THEY MIGHT NOT OF CONNECTED IT RIGHT ?

    OBD connector is under ashtray
    did code reader work before?
    check fuses,cannot remember which one off the top of me head

    I am not sure if the code readers work on diesels prior to a certain age.

    did the code reader work before hand? Only a handful of code readers work on the DTI

    yes it worked fine . it gived me the codes and let me clear them . but now all it does is lets me clear them but not let me see what it was
