Interviews, Beer and remaps...

Well this has been an interesting 2 days!

Yesterday I got up and drove down to Luton for me Interview...I think it went OK but it was a "competance based" interview so I struggled to sell myself. I will find out more in the next fortnight.

Then Last night I met up with Cara, Mark and their lovely cats...They were kind enough to let me join them for a glass of coke or two

We were joined by Cabbie and Gizmo....

Gotta say I really enjoyed myself Really chuffed to me you all...

Today I got up (eventually) then went back to bed.... Then I had to Check out. I Deboxed the engine so it would have settled down again for my next stop. I'd forgotten how gutless the 120 is...

I headed off to 888/VXPC and before I knew it I was ordering a remap and a possible F1 style rear diffuser that they're talkin about doing. They did try to sell me a Carbon Fibre tail gate but I was able to say no to that one.

I walked into the building shaking like a little kid....

What was interesting was Tony took a copy of my existing map. While he set it up I noticed loads of faults being recorded on Tech 2. He sorted them out there and then as none where major..but I was surprised at the fault list for a car that as far as I knew was fine.

The remap will be ready in a week or two so I guess I've gotta go back.

Another interesting thing...

On the way down on the M1 I was passed by a 2.2 SRi and an Astra VXR...I had my camera set up for time lapse photos on the way down so I fired a couple of shots off. Any guess who was at 888...The Astra. He said he S*** himself when he saw me cause He thought I was a copper.

He seamed chuffed at the photos even though they were naff!

What d'ya think if the F1 style diffuser idea?

have they got any pictures or mockup's yet??..

if it looks VXR stylee then why not..

I saw and artist sketch. It' not just an insert but a whole under tray too that goes round the spare wheel well.

I'll try and make a piccy up some how....

good to meet you too Brocks, and Gsi and Cara and Mark the cabby, good to finally put faces to names!
Good luck with the remap and if the diffuser looks good then DO IT!
