    Default wheel nut size for replacement

    ok, took my time looking and couldnt find the answer. on ebay there was different sizes wheel bolts. since i got some bolts that are rusting, i thought it was time to replace them all as i know the results if left as is. seen tyre fitters taking half hour to an hour taking one bad bolt out. so i didnt want this happening!! LOL

    Show me one?

    no one knows the right type? as there is many different sizes in depth and 17 19 so i'll look online and try find right one

    1.5 is the thread pitch standard across most bolts now days will have 17mm head so 17mm socket needed

    17mm hex head, 24mm thread length but many is 26mm so i am confused to why its longer. and will longer be ok?

    i know what 1.5 is lol. got tap and die kit

    wasnt insulting lol yeah people'll know now. i didnt know before i got the draper tap and die kit (the £170 kit) and looked up what the tool was for and realised what the number/1.2 to 1.75 was meant to do. its a guide to use right type.
