    Default My first mod :D :D :D

    Hi guys,

Pointless post really as it's nothing special, but did the first mod to my Vectra today........Insignia washer jets took about 10 mins max they look odd when spraying and will need adjusting a bit but can cope for now.

They do look like they are going to be more effective than the old style ones, and certainly seem to foam the washer fluid up a lot.

I did crack my scuttle more, but it was already was damaged from ******* garage workers so ill be replacing that when I can get around to it, but apart from that it was quite easy.

for a fiver i am very happy, am going to crack on with looking on ebay for my next mod

    thanks for reading

A good start. I also changed the washer jets to Insigna ones, and my passenger one is slightly off. You need a special adjuster tool apparently.

One of my favourite mods......a great improvment over standard wash jets.
But youve started now so the modding bug will soon hit you, right in your wallet lol.

Good effort sir! Flat wiper blades work very well with the insignia jets, and even better again with a rain repellent used on the screen!

Changed my washer jets as well, it's just one of these cheap and satisying jobs. 5 minutes to do, and gives a nice improvement.

Mine needed adjusted, and I ended up buying a small metal tool on ebay to do the job. I did try making a tool out of a pen lid, but it simply wasn't strong enough and bits kept breaking off inside the jet. Ruddy difficult to get them back out it was too, lol!
