Right here goes,
I've got a 2004 Vauxhall Vectra DTi Design. In the mornings, I go to start it and the glow plug light is on, then I turn key to start and it keeps cranking. I put my foot flat to the floor and it finally starts. All in all, takes around 5 seconds.
Next, when I'm out, my car is at optimum temperature and I park it up to go somewhere. I return around hours later and turn the key. Glowplug light not coming on, car cranking, foot to the ground, takes around 10 seconds and finally start.
Can anyone shed any light here?
When freezing, glow plugs seem to work as they should. I have a hunch myself on what it might be, but I'd like the thoughts of y'all to see if you think the same.
