This is my first post, so hello everyone

I've recently bought a cdti sri 150 pre-facelift, only I seem to have chosen one that has been collecting common faults off here like they were Nectar points

It has an egr fault, a thermostat fault, a glowplug fault, an occasional turbo overboost fault, the cruise control is random at best and I have no idea when the cambelt was last changed

Money is a bit tight, so obviously the first thing I have bought is a new set of headlights and a shiny grill (they did seem like a bargain though!)

Anyway, now I've got that out of my system, I'm going to send her in to have the cambelt done, which leads me to a couple of questions...

1, Should I get my mechanic to change the water pump when he does the belt change or not?

2, Would it be cheaper to have a new thermostat fitted at the same time as the belt or not?

3, Does the bumper have to come off on a belt change? (might be easier to get him to fit the headlights?)

4, Can I use this stuff to clean the MAF sensor:

5, How do you clean a MAF sensor?

Thanks for any advice
