Default My car misbehaved for first time today!

Took the car for a run today down the m8 to good old ikea with my wee wifey, went to click the cruise control on at speed limit(ish lol) and nothing happened! Very odd ,I use cruise whenever I can as I'm a big fan of it,anyhow got in car to go home ,tried it again and it worked perfectly! Very odd but quite happy lol,the car hasn't been used in last two months so I'm hoping its just a wee gremlin that's cleared itself lol, anyone else had this happen? No lights came on dash btw,was quite taken aback as I've had the car about twenty months now and it's been faultless

Remember you have to had used the brakes once before the cruise will work - I did not realise this myself until I checked the handbook

Switch might be getting dirty, if it ever starts to happen more often then just clean the contact's.

Failing that either the clutch switch decided to stick or starting to fail, but i wouldn't worry about it.

I have forgotten myself and had my foot just slightly on the clutch which has stopped it working before. Don't suppose you could have been resting your foot on the clutch pedal a little too hard?

As above, you need to tap the brake before it will work, but you prob know that already seeing as you've owned about 300 vectra/signums
