    Default The modding bug bit me,pic heavy

    I bought a vectra sri just over 12 months ago and then joined this forum,one of the first posts i read was about the boot light being very poor had never given it a thought till then,i've never modded a car before so i thought i would have a little dabble, in the boot was a bug and it bit me here is what i have achieved in the last 12 months with the help of forum members and the excellent how2 section so for any modding novices like me who are after ideas here are a few of the easier ones all in one place, some of the pics aren't the best but you'll get the idea.....

    The very first mod the boot light

    Then i heard about wind deflectors
    MUD FLAPS.JPG

    Sunglasses holders instead of the roof grab handles

    Centre rear headrest cos facelifts don't have them

    Wired up the near side fog light now i've got two

    Light switch cubby cos face lifts don't have these either

    Ashtray light, you've guessed it face lifts ain't got one

    Door pulls were tatty so had a go at wrapping

    Finding my feet now so managed to do the footwells

    500k HID's love these

    These smarten up the boring plastic dash dials

    Nice new door pins far better than plastic
    wheel refurb.JPG
    All topped off with a full wheel refurb my Chritmas present to me,also done is the airbox mod and insignia spay screen washer jets,ive really had some fun over the last 12 months

    Looking good there mate jus need to debadge i think will look much nicer personal opinion tho

    Hunting hi and low for a genuine one Dan may have to buy new later on in the year if I can't track down a used one
