    Default Front fogs problem

Morning all just wondered if there was someone out there that could help me with a slightly annoying problem, a while back my left hand side fog light seemed to have a connection fault and kept throwing up a message on my screen check fog lamp, now my other fog is doing it and they both Wong work at all now unless I wiggle the wire and tap the connectors a bit but I have the bulb out on my dash and its annoying the bejesus out of me I have the extender wire harness for fogs because I have the vxr front end any help will be greatly appreciated or even if there was a way I could just get rid of bulb warning for now

Mine did this, it was the wire from the car to the extender, it was corroded through just behind the plug. I soldered it together for now but will snip a plug with some length of wires from a scrappy car.

I think it's my actual extenders though Nige if I wiggle the connector that's attached to the bulb they come on then go out

Hope you get it sorted. have you run a meter over the wiring to trace the bad connection? As above, I'd solder the bad joint

Pity the weather so crappy, I have a meter and butane soldering iron. Chances are the new harnesses will sort it, just check the plugs you're connecting them to are not corroded.

a multimeter is cheaper than the new wires mate... buy one of them first and you may save your money by buying a part you don't need. you can use the multimeter many times over in the coming years... chucking money at something and just changing parts until one fixes the issue is the stealers way of doing things, we here to help you save money..
