Default Rattle/click but stops when brake

Since bought my Gsi had knocks/bangs/rattles at rear. This week had rear suspension arms replaced which has improved handling no end. However still had an annoying rattle/click. Today have checked underneath and found a loose heat shield, secured this sure it would be problem but no. This noise will immediately stop as soon as you press brake even very lightly. Any help appreciated before have to put it into a garage. Thanks

Brake pads? Go for genuine Vauxhall ones from dealers though as pattern ones still rattle

Mine does exactly this since I put cheapie brake pads in the rear.

Going to strip and inspect tomorrow, but looks like I'll be off to Vauxhall for some genuine pads
