still misfire

hi all changed coil pack this morning still misses on idle ,although does rev a bit smother,wondering could it be afm next ? unplugged the plug and its a bit sticky with like oil ,can the afm be cleaned or does it mean new one .Any ideas on misfire pls.p.s i have not had codes cleared yet would that make a difference thanks alan

Runn the car with it runnint if you unplug the maf and it doesnt do out its ya maf mateb

Have you checked spark plugs??
I have a misfire in 1 and 4 but before changing I need to check for spark in the coils to confirm. Mine only comes when it hits 3000rpm but fine when stood still and reved.
If the coil is fine I am in same situ so watching this.
I need to check plugs but they should be fine as new 4 months ago and Denso Iradium.

no should have done them when had top off ,but thought it cant be simple as plugs in my case lol

i would check your breather pipes i have had a couple of ecotecs that only miss under load and found crank breather pipes blocked cleaned out and all is grand worth a look, and cheap fix if it works lol
