    Default Annoying litte ******

    The veccy goes over any bumpy road and from the boot area sounds like a squeeking or a screw undoing itslef iv checked everthing what the hell could it be it sounds like a creaking door smeone shine some light on this for me please cheers guys

    Have you checked the hatch striker as it could be slightly out and the hatch itself is moving when the car flexes?

    Its either the rear drop links.or the rear anti roll bar bushes ,both cheapish fixes you'll be pleased to hear.

    He means the actuall boot lid mechanism, if you strip the inner plastics off at the very back, the pin on the body( not the boot lid) is adjustable.

    It's the latch/catch striker plate for the rear hatch/tail gate. These can move with the constant opening and closing of the hatch door. Just undo the two screws (torx) and adjust. It should tighten up the free play which maybe causing your squeaking.
    My Signum hatch had an annoying squeak, this above solved it. But in summertime I had another annoying squeak, not the hatch this time but I narrowed it down to a loose rear light unit. I accidently came across that squeak when leaning on the loose light unit and discovered the squeak.

    Someone who slam the boot too hard...LOL

    I had a similar noise, it was the hinges for the parcel shelf, i sprayed with a little WD40 and noise stopped..

    Mines the same but some one put tape around the hatch striker i need to move mine down as it still squeaks. lol
