    Post Having my Alloys Powder Coated

    Hi all

    I want to have my Alloys Powder Coated - they have started to flake !!- can anyone recommend a place in the Leeds area?

    The range of finishes you can have done now are impressive. I bought my wife a set of 18" 6 spoke snowflakes for her Christmas. They needed three cracks welded and rims filled in (what do you expect when you buy them with tread for £250.00.

    Anyway... £200 later they are like brand new. I had them done in black with three coats of a gliter flake on top and then a clear laqure double coat. Pics of them below to give you some food for thought on what you can have done.... (sorry they are not the best pics, still to get round to a dam good clean of the car and new photo's to be taken).

    Ive had loads of sets done at cas (the link that ziggy posted) carnt go wrong you just have to remove tyres yourself but they are a cheap powder coaters. And only live 2 miles away

    Alternatively google plasti dip. Thats what ill be doing to mine. Infact ill be doing my whole Lada at some point.

    Yeah, she loved them. For her birthday I bought her a custom twin exit exhaust. I always buy her something for her car at birthdays, Xmas, valentines etc. randomness present was a modified banjo bolt for her astra vxr when she had that. Not to worry however, she's a total petrol head....! Lol.
