    Default 1.9 cdti sri - power gains

    just a quick question .

    i had my vectra re mapped 2 weeks ago to roughly 200bhp, what other things could i do to the engine to get more performance/power.

    Improve the breathing on the engine, decat the exhaust, better intercooler, bigger turbo and another remap

    Depends how much you want to spend!

    is the cat not required for MOT ! ?

    cheers for that will have a look into the prices of those and see which to do first ! though will probably do as much as i can to it over time !

    As above really -

    it depends how much you want to spend
    how much power you're after
    are you prepared to risk reliability

    Breathing is the main one really. A decent cold feed and a decent sports cat or if you know an MOT tester remove the cat completely.

    There's a CRYO2 system that Demon Tweeks do that's similar to water or methane injection, but is CO2. I'm not sure what the power increase is though.

    There's always good old NOS!

    In all honesty you needed to get the remap after the modifications though to get the best out of it.

    Just being nosey sim1 but how much did the remappin set u back ? did u get it done at a vx dealers?
