Smile need to know is this the one i need??

looking to get egr blanked out, and with a remap within next 2 weeks , from Mas after seeing the amount of reviews on here , just wanted to make sure this is pretty much the type of blanking plate that would sort it ?

That's a semi blanking plate. If you're getting the egr mapped out, best go for the full blanking plate without the centre hole.

Yep, ideally need the one without a hole in the middle. But unless your EGR valve is stuck partly open, you can get away without a blanking plate at all, because the EGR valve will remain closed all the time after the remap anyway.

I've mapped out my egr but never bothered with a blanking plate - works perfectly and opcom shows valve always closed.

Do you need new gaskets for these or can you just unbolt, fit this and bolt back on? Only reason I ask is I have one waiting to go on but the eBay listing I got mine from said you need 2 gaskets (1 either side of the blanking plate, is that right?

Yes, you need two new gaskets - one each side of the blanking plate.
