Default New MOT has last 3 milage readings

Had my MOT at the weekend and noticed they now list the last 3 mileage readings taken at the time of MOT.

About time and should stop people 'clocking' cars.

    (Not my car)

As part of the recent MOT review, Transport Secretary Justine Greening announced that mileage readings from the last three VT20s would be recorded on the MOT certificate to help protect motorists from ‘clocking’ or mileage fraud.

Great idea!!! Finally some common sense. Mind you why not just print them all from the first MOT? Is it still on the stupid plain A4 piece of paper?

At last some real sense being shown. Should have been introduced years ago by presenting previous MOT with the test.

It would be yes but for most traders it would look dodgy clocking a car back to just after the last MOT.

If you did it every year yourself then yes it wont stop it.

Its mpre to stop traders knocking 10's of thousands off cars and upping the value.
