    Default cdti boost sensor

would a dodgy boost sensor cause a hesitation on acceleration?its 120 8v engine.its had an egr valve recently as well.

Did you clean it when EGR was done? Why not try taking it off and clean it with a carb cleaner to eliminate the boost sensor? It's a 10-15mins job.

Would be interested to know how you get on.

    Q. Could a mucky boost sensor cause lumpy idle when cold?

A mucky boost sensor can cause an uneven idle, I noticed a slight miss with mine (when warm admittedly) until I cleaned it, and has been spot on since.
