Default [Problem]Battery dies way to often

    Hello guys.
I'm having a bit of a problem. My car won't start after sitting for maybe a day and sometimes over night.
I have a new battery and this problem occurs often in the cold and I live in Iceland then there is a lot of cold days half of the year

One time it didn't start so I measured the battery(the acid, charge, and voltage) and it was all right but still the car would not start so I charged it for maybe around 10 min and then there was no problem.

The discharge on the battery was 0,05 A witch is normal I'm told.(switched off)
So I was wondering if anyone know what the problem was or had any ideas.??

    Specs:
    It's an 2003 Vectra-C 1,8 (Z18XE I think) petrol
I have HID wired through an relay and LED park lights (also through relay(have not failed in 2 years or so)
    Blue rear number plate LEDs
Recently installed subwoofer and amp (red to battery and remote to radio which turns on when the car is switched fully on but not started the car
But since the discharge isn't un normal while the car is switched of then what could be the problem ??

http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...-2003-vectra-c .. this is my car

Sorry for my English. Not my native language.

But any suggestions are well appreciated

Have you tried disconnecting the subwoofer and amp from the battery just to eliminate it?

Also see if boot and glovebox lights go out when they are shut

Check connections - freezing shows up bad connections. Check voltage at battery with engine running - should be around 14V i.e. charging.

    Thanks for great responses.

I will unplug the amp from the battery just to eliminate it .

I have checked the connections and they are fine.

How can I see if there is a bad cell in the battery ?

Should I just measure the voltage by the battery ?

(I can have a help from a uncle which works at Benz ?agency? so he probably knows what to check but I just want to have more info on what might be the cause if anyone have had simular problem)
