    Default newbie to site and already needs help

    Hi have had a hunt around but couldn't find anything specific on my problem.
    Just bought an 03 vectra 2.2 elite test drove it and all was fine but next day go to start it from cold and have a noise coming from the engine thats like a relay clicking noise lasts for around 4-5 mins then disappears as engine starts to get warm soon as engine cools its back think guy who sold it new and ran engine before I got there just enough that the noise vanished needle on temp gauge doesn't move before noise vanished any help would be appreciated

    Its coming from the left hand side of the engine if looking from the front engine sounds great except for this clicking relay sounding noise after 3/4 minsit vanishes car drives fine no noises and no warning lights are on.I

    Sounds like a relay is clicking, they are situated under the battery cover. Listen to the relays and get someone to start the engine from cold. Yu can actually put your finger ontop of the relays and should be able to feel if one is clicking.

    Don't think its a relay as if I rev the engine the clicking speeds up and slows down with the engine just hoping its nothing to do with the dreaded timing chain!

    Timeing chain be starved i would say what sides it coming from
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    Not very high possibly 60 degrees at the very most gauge never gets up to half way stays just past 80
