Default Always wet under the Passenger seat

Hi I have been have a long term issue that I am trying to get to the bottom. Underneath the passenger seat where the connector block is there is a dip inder the cartpet. This dip always seems to be full of water. I can easily leave a small towel every night which always become soggy. The water is not comming through the pollen filter. This is really driving me mad. Can anyone shed any light on what else it could be ? The boot section looks ok and the scuttle is not blocked.

    thanks

Get yourself some talcum powder or baby powder coat the door seals and then hose them down to see visibly where any leak might be coming in. It does sound very very much like the scuttle though, have to tried pouring water into the drain to make sure it flows away under the car?

    Hi

There is another drain under the Bonnet near the pollen filter on the drivers side by the wiper linkage

I used a knitting needle to clear it out
    to get though the grid

Are you sure the water is coming from the front of the car and not the rear - have you checked your spare wheel well for water - I had a mondeo with wet rear passenger and front footwell and it was coming in through a faulty seal on one of the rear light units and working it's way through.
