    Default HID for skin-flints

I was looking to buy a spare ballast to keep kicking round and came up with the cheapest way to get HID's for your car

    recipe as follows

First buy two of these, please note the built in canbus cancellors and ultra slim construction too we know where they can be fitted, don't we

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/55W-DC-12V...item564b051043

Now on to bulbs, you can get any flavour any type any fitting, I chose these as after almost 3 years they have never let me down or come loose.

Total is £23.97 plus a few minutes to fit them

    Blimey that is cheap.

Im about to pull out my ballasts to swap around to see if I can get my hid fogs working correctly.

If I find I need new ballasts them links will do me nicely even if I have to wait a few weeks for them to arrive.

Thanks very much for posting them up.

Just been looking for a set myself - not sure if i should punt for this kit or one from HID direct. Might go for HID direct cause they will turn up quicker

    Cheers for the links!

I've just ordered 2x55w ballasts and 2x H3-4300k bulbs and I'll swap my current 35w ballasts for the new ones and use the H3 bulbs in my fogs with my current 35w ballasts.

Yeah, they're really simple to fit. The only modding is a 25mm hole cut in the back of the lamp cover for the bulb to pass through.

Not at those prices as they fall below the lower taxable limit.
